There are many inspirational quotes which I’ve been given by many people, I want to to share & memorize them, also their behind stories, and how they affected me.
A miserable project and a good boss
Back in there, we were handling a difficult project (let call it C project) which had a lot of problems: management, teamwork, skills of members, requirements, quality … literally everything had problems. 
We were on fire … there was a lot of long meetings, long night overtimes, the rush from our client, the low motivation of members, nobody thought we could finish that miserable project. 
As in my company, we have an activity on Monday, everybody will gather together and we will listen and share our thoughts. We called it “Monday meeting”, and I think it’s very nice culture.
As you knew, we didn’t have a good time inside company because of the miserable project I mention above. 
On a Monday meeting, my boss, Mr.Shogo Harada came in front everyone and he said:
To everyone, the first thing I want to say is I’m sorry. I’m very sorry to everyone, I know that I everybody was working so hard, and I know that we were having a lot of problems and trouble with our C project. I’m sorry I cannot help you with your problems directly, I cannot do the code for you, there are a lot of things I cannot do for you. I’m really sorry about it and I will do my best, with whatever I can to help. Yesterday is the past, today is present, tomorrow is future. We cannot change the past, but we can change the future. I cannot change the past, but I want to change the future with you, all of you !
That speak had given me a lot of inspiration and respect for his action, his voice still echo in my head.
An old man, a company CEO who care for his staffs, admitted what he cannot do and show his appreciation for other people works, try to pull everybody together, to fix things together, to change the future together. 
That is the boss I need, the one who I want to work for, and I respect the most. 
Sometime I made bad decisions, I remember this story, the C project & that talk and think about what can I do today, to change the future tomorrow.
